The UNCG College Democrats are an organization of politically engaged, progressive college students. We were first officially founded in 1955, when Weeta White, a history major from Winston-Salem, organized the first meeting of a “Young Democrats Club” on November 8th of that year. Young and College Democrats have been on campus almost continuously ever since, working for voter registration and progressive reform. This year, we’re going the extra step. We’re reaching out, raising funds, and giving our members the tools we need to lead local campaigns to victory. Our gerrymandered, Republican-dominated legislature is working hard to demolish 100 years of progress, and it is more important than ever to break the majority and unlock Governor Cooper’s veto. Help us stop them before it’s too late.

Diverse. Decisive. Dauntless. We are the UNCG College Democrats.
